Reports Complete
Complete means every subject is scored and all the required comments are written. Click a class to open its reports.
Students
Everyone on the roll.
Every name comes from the Attendance roster, so a student is only ever added, changed or removed in one place. Reports are kept per student, per term.
The roll
| Name | Class | Status |
|---|
No students yet. They appear here from the Attendance roster.
Classes & subjects
Set up each class and what it’s graded on.
Keep the master subject list current, then tick which of those subjects each class is graded on — classes don’t all do the same ones. Subjects print in the master-list order.
Classes
Each class, and the subjects it’s graded on. Removing a class does not remove its students.
Add subjects to the master list below first.
Master subject list
Every subject the school offers, in the order it prints on report cards. Each class ticks the ones it does, above.
| Order | Subject |
|---|
No subjects yet. Add the first one below.
Settings
The grade key and the rest.
These apply to every report card. Change them here once.
Scoring
Each subject is a class score plus an exam score. The two maximums add up to the total the grade is worked out from.
Grade bands
The percentage range for each grade, its code, and its meaning. The meaning is also the COMMENT printed against each subject.
| From % | To % | Code | Meaning |
|---|
Values & ethics
The value / ethic lines rated on each report, and the ratings available (Gold is highest).
Term
These come from Attendance now, via the Attendance link panel below — link a term there and they fill in and stay current automatically.
Attendance link
Attendance is the source of truth for anything attendance-related. Link a term here once and Report Cards keeps the current term’s "Days school opened", vacation/reopening dates and every student’s "Days present" topped up from it automatically - those fields elsewhere in the app are read-only now. It shares this Firebase project.

Classes and their subjects are on the Classes & subjects tab.
Staff
Teachers and their classes.
Add each teacher a username and password, and tick the classes they mark. They’ll only see those classes when they sign in. Admins see everything.
New teacher accounts are best added from Accounts & configurations on the Jotter start page now — that also decides which other tools they can open, and signs them straight in here with no second login. Accounts added here still work as a fallback sign-in for this app alone.

Backup
Keep a safe copy.
Every report lives in this browser on this computer, and also online if sync is on (admins: see "Other" at the foot of the page). Download a file backup after a marking session and keep it somewhere safe either way.
